Ryde Secondary College is keen to reach out and develop a strong partnerships with our local community, in order to:
- promote the work of Ryde Secondary College in the community
- enhance the skills and knowledge of our students and staff
- connect students and their studies to the real world through interaction with business, further education providers, local primary schools, local, state and federal government, service organisations, sporting and cultural groups.
- further develop student participation in business and community activities in our region
- develop career education, work experience and work placement opportunities for all students
- foster sporting, musical, academic, artistic and technological talents of students
- engage our community in the life and activities of Ryde Secondary College
Our partnership activities include engaging occasional speakers, workshops, volunteering, excursions, mentoring, work experience, and leadership development.
